Say Hello To The World’s First Foldable Phone | Living 360

When you hear about the latest new hot-shot smartphone, it’s almost always associated with a big name brand like Apple, LG and Samsung. That said, a relatively unknown smartphone brand (not for long) has taken the internet by storm by announcing the launch of the world’s first foldable smartphone.

California-based Royole completely blew the roof off a conference in Beijing to reveal the FlexPai.

Measuring in with a display screen of 7.8-inches when opened in full – the device when folded, the display segments into three parts: the front, rear, and spine of the device.

Tech enthusiasts around the world are going nuts about FlexPei and consumers in China will get their chance to purchase one this week during a flash sale. The prices start at approx.. US $1,295 to three flash sales on Thursday, November 1, with prices starting at 8,999 yuan to 12,999 yuan (US$1,295 to US$1,871). Those lucky enough to get their hands on a device will get them delivered in December 2018.

FlexPai’s Innovative CEO Bill Liu had this to say: “The Royole FlexPai foldable smartphone provides mobile phone users with a revolutionary experience compared to traditional phones,”

We had heard the likes of Samsung and Huawei leak whispers about similar products, but the trophy for first in market sits with the clever folks ate Royole.

Bravo!
