The purpose of this blog is to focus on how we can all enrich our lives by challenging the status quo. What do I mean by that exactly?
Simply put, I have always asked the question ‘Why?’ – something that has been a staple part of my vocabulary from a young age (Sorry Mum!). Starting out as an international model from the age of 13 and being shipped off to cities like Paris, Milan, New York and Tokyo at such a young age, I was fortunate to have worked with some of the best stylists, photographers, designers and mentors in the business. Many would try to tell me what to wear, where to eat, what was cool, what was not and society in general would try to dictate the rules for happiness. I questioned it all back then and I still do today.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m far from a rebel but to me and my friends, the pursuit of happiness is about living a complete life which comes about by surrounding yourself by the things & people you love, and freeing up your time to focus on what ‘excites’ you. Excitement = Happiness in our books.
Instead of planning for the ultimate retirement when you reach 60, we’re saying let’s celebrate life with a series of ‘mini retirements’ (to quote Tim Ferris himself) and really start living.
In this blog, my friends and I will be bringing you an insight into our world. A world where we seek the finer things to wear, listen to, read and of course eat (we are all massive foodies!). We are also going to have a BIG focus on travel and living like a local when you do. Look out for some of our favourite places to visit around the region, some really fun things to do and of course some very cool places to stay.
Health & nutrition will also be a focus as we scour the region for the best remedies and products to keep you looking tip-top.
